This page explains how money and changes are handled on MojarSoft projects. The exact terms for your project are written into your project agreement, which you see and agree to before any work starts. Where this page and your agreement differ, your agreement applies.
Quotes
Every project starts with a written quote. It lists what is included, what it costs and anything that needs a separate decision, such as third-party subscriptions, licences or hosting you pay for directly.
Payment schedule
Your project agreement sets out when payments are due, usually linked to agreed stages of the work. We do not ask for payment for anything that is not in the agreement.
Changes to scope
Ideas often change once a project is under way. When you ask for something outside the agreed scope:
- We explain what the change involves and how it affects cost and timeline
- You decide whether to go ahead
- The change is confirmed in writing before the extra work starts
Cancellation and refunds
Either side can end a project as described in the project agreement. If a project ends early:
- You pay for the work completed up to that point, as the agreement describes
- Any payment for work not yet done is handled under the refund terms in your agreement
- You receive the work you have paid for, including source code and files
Support after launch
What support you receive after launch, for how long and at what cost is set out in your project agreement.
Questions or disagreements
If something about a payment, invoice or change doesn’t look right, email hello@mojarsoft.com. Most issues are solved by talking them through. Formal disputes are handled as described in your project agreement and our Terms of Service.
